Today I have been reading the book, How to Find a Profitable Blog Topic Idea (Better Blog Booklets), and researching possible niches to serve.

The processes of brainstorming, reflecting on who I am, my experiences in life, my skills, interests, and God-given talents have given me a lot to consider.

Which of these areas of passionate blogging do you think will win out?  Which do you think SHOULD win?

My top areas of passion are:

“Achieve Anything” based upon my life, setting and reaching just about any goal I’ve set for myself.

“Positive Parenting” based upon my desire to be a Godly mom full of patience, passion for my kids, love, kindness, and advocating for their needs.

“Academic Achievement” for kids who learn differently.

Next Steps:

Market Research and Keyword Research. After all, my blog will become my business that will be my driving force for my future. Therefore, it must have a foundational possibility of generating income.

As many of you know, I have long had a passion for and served Learning Abled Kids, but let’s face it.. Homeschooling families are by nature single-income families. Additionally, homeschoolers homeschooling Learning Abled Kids are a smaller market segment. Therefore, being a small segment of financially strapped people makes it relatively limited in viability as a blogging income source.

I still have a love and passion for Learning Abled Kids, and ALWAYS WILL. Short of ideas on how to generate income solely through that source though, I’m feeling a need to broaden my means of serving others on a path that will also provide a means for continuation of service without feeling constantly cash-strapped.

After I pick my Niche stepping through the processes in this book, I will begin researching how to launch a profitable blog.
